Клавиша или ключ, присвоенные определенной задаче или функции. Функциональные клавиши часто образуют отдельную группу на клавиатуре и им присваиваются специфические задачи. На клавиатуре IBM PC AT-совместимых компьютеров имеется 12 функциональных клавиш, расположенных в одну линию над основной клавиатурой. Они обозначаются F1, F2 и т.д.
